Teeth sensitivity can be normal for some people, but if you experience an abrupt sensitivity to temperatures, then it is likely because of rotten teeth.
Swollen Gums
An infection in your gums is one of the rotten teeth symptoms. If your gums are swollen or red, then your tooth or teeth may have decayed. Swollen gums indicate deep decay within a tooth which has spread into the gum via the tooth’s root. Regular dental visits can help detect and treat minor cavities before they become a significant problem.
Cavity
Having a cavity is the first sign of a rotten tooth that appears as chalky white specs on the outer surface of the tooth. If cavity is recognized at an early stage, it can be easily treated. If left untreated, the tooth cavity will progress and will erode your tooth enamel. Eventually, cavities form as the enamel wears away, leaving holes on your tooth surface. And, as it penetrates deep into your teeth, it may cause your tooth to rot.
